About Us

The beautiful island of Ibiza has long been a favorite destination of tourists seeking fun in the sun and surf coupled with a fantastic, lively nightlife for their holidays in Ibiza. But there is a side of the island that most people do not know or are simply too caught up in Ibiza's party scene to notice. Ibiza's rustic beauty and idyllic surroundings some of which have been named as UNESCO World Heritage Sites far away from the noise and bustle of the beaches and bars are some of the reasons why I fell in love with Ibiza.

Being born on Ibiza I have an amazing passion for the island and really want to show others that Ibiza has another side to offer apart from the 'party' scene.  Growing up on the Ibiza until I was 10 gave me the most amazing and wonderfull childhood I could have ever wanted and more, then came the shock of moving to England and all the adjustments that were needed of living in a very different culture. 

As soon as I could travel independently at the age of 15 I was back to Ibiza most summers.  When the plane touched down on Ibiza I always had a wonderful feeling in my heart saying 'I am home' and someday I will live back here.

I then got caught up in the treadmill of life;  marriage, job, friends, mortgage, bills and around and around it went, higher salary = higher bills and again it went on, bigger house, faster car, more work.......ahhhh there had to be more to life- please tell me there is......divorce came, bigger job, even faster car, best hotels and restaurants; I can't get off the treadmill.......

Then one day Belinda and her two wonderful daughters came into my life, and she also wanted to move to Spain, but the mainland, not Ibiza as she had never been to 'that party Island' so off we went and then the lightbulb clicked on and Belinda could see why I loved Ibiza so much and that only a very small part of the Island was 'that party Island', so that was it our way off the treadmill and plans were made to make the move.  What would we do?  Who knows, but we both shared the same vision.

5 years later our daughters had grown up and left home, notice handed in at work, house sold and we were ready.  Friends and family thought we were mad for giving all we had up, but we were going for it.  We decided to go travelling for 2 years around the world prior to settling on Ibiza and we headed off for one hell of an amazing adventure backpacking through Latin America, it was a life changing time.  We both connected even more with each other and 'Spirit' and then during a week with a Shaman in Peru, Cusco we both had a message for each other- we should go to Ibiza now and not travel for another year!

So we are now living on this amazing island and run www.IbizaReiki.com giving treatments and teachings.  Then a friend said to me one day that he would like to walk around the entire coastline of Ibiza and that was it - I was hooked on the idea.  4 weeks later that is what we did; starting in the same place, Ibiza Port and walking in opposite directions around the Island.  It took 11 days and was another life changing time.  We also went with food and water for only 24 hours, after that we were on our own!
